JAMMU, Feb 22: Chairman of Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) and former J&K Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad today approved the appointment of new office bearers for Zonal Committee of Central Jammu besides several other district committees.
Former minister Ch Gharu Ram is the president of Zonal Committee of Central Jammu; fourteen vice presidents are- Naveen Bali, Gurdyal Singh Majotra, Ashok Khajuria, Chanchal Popli, Sat Pal Mandi, Ravail Singh, Jung Bahadur, Haji Bashir Malik, S Fauja Singh, Ram Singh Bhagat, Baldev Khullar, Sanjeev Dubey, Neeraj Thappa and Amir Chand.
Eight general secretaries are- Naresh Nandi, Om Parkash Sharma, Col Som Nath Dogra, Ch Mohinder Pal, Jang Bahadur, Shiraj Sharma, Sanjeev Jandyal and Mohd Hafiz Malik. Five secretaries are- Chanchla Devi, Khairati Lal, Ajay Gupta, Krishan Lal and Ramesh Singh whereas, Ved Kumar and Laxman Dass are organising secretaries.
Azad also appointed new office bearers for District Committee Jammu Rural (North/South) and Jammu Urban, besides Udhampur, Kathua and Samba districts.
