Jammu, Oct 5: ‘Azadi Ka Amrit’ Mahotsav cultural event was organised by Jammu Police at DPL Jammu, in collaboration with Department of Information and Public Relation J&K.
ADGP Jammu Zone Sh. Mukesh Singh, IPS was the chief guest of the event. Other officers present in the event were SSP Jammu Sh. Chandan Kohli, IPS, SSP Traffic Sh. Koushal Kumar Sharma, SSP Sh. Kulbeer Singh, Commdt IR 18th Bn, SSP Sh. Mudashir Latifi, Commdt. IR 15th Bn, SSP Smt.Anita Sharma, Commdt. IR 14th Bn, SSP Security Jammu Sh Swarn Singh Kotwal, SSP PCR Jammu Dr. Haseeb Mughal, SP City North Mohita Sharma, IPS, SP Hqrs Ramnish Gupta, SP City South Deepak Digra, SP Operations Jammu Sh Naresh Singh, Dy.SP DAR K D Bhagat and various SDPOs of Jammu District.
Event was started with the welcome address by SSP Jammu after which various cultural items by artists from police, CAPF jawans and various others were displayed. Cultural event included various performances on dogri songs, Solo dance, group dance etc.
SSP Jammu said that such events can help to distress the jawans from daily hectic routine ad infuse a new zeal in them.
A momento was also presented to ADGP Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh by SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli.
ADGP Jammu Zone also appreciated Police Department and Information Department along with participants. He also said that these events prong freshness in the daily routine.
ADGP Jammu Zone flanked by SSP Jammu presented various prizes among the participants for their wonderful performances.
Later, a vote of thanks was presented by SP Headquarters Jammu Ramnish Gupta.
