JAMMU, Feb 9: Baba Football Club and Param Football Club registered their emphatic wins over their opponent teams including DFA Poonch and National FC by 3 goals to 1 and 5 goals to 1 in the ongoing Football tournament at GGM Science College Ground, here today.
The tournament is being organised under the aegis of J&K Football Association (DFA Jammu).
In the first match Baba FC beat DFA Poonch by 3 goals to 1. The 1st goal was secured by Sharif in the 8th minute, while 2nd & 3rd goals were netted by Mohd Noor for Baba FC, while the only goal was secured by Mohit for DFA Poonch in the 37th minute of the game during the match.
In the 2nd match 2nd match Param FC defeated National FC by 5 goals to 1. The 1st and 3rd goals were secured by Rohit in 7th & 33rd minute, while 2nd goal was netted by Loveish Kumar in 17th minute and 4th by Ansh and 5th goal was secured by Madhav for Param FC.
The single goal was netted by Bobby in 34th minute for National FC.
Rakesh Kumar (International Player), Kamaljeet Kumar (International Player), Shahnawaz Iqbal (J&K Bank Coach), David Masih, Yousaf Don, Ashok Sharma, Rajinder Abrol (National Player), Peter Sandhu, and Ramesh Chander (Org. Secretary and International Player) were present during the event.
The referees of the matches were Ricky, Satnam Singh, Aman Sudan and Aryan.
