LOS ANGELES, Oct 2: Australian horror film ‘The Babadook’ has released a new clip.
The movie was well received when it debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in January, reported Deadline.
The clip sees star Essie Davis reach out for help when her fear of the titular monsters begins to show.
The Kickstarter-funded movie centres around a mother struggling to pick up the pieces after the death of her husband.
When her son claims that a monster from a children’s book is haunting their house, she dismisses the idea out of hand, but only at first.
Noah Wiseman also stars in Jennifer Kent’s directorial debut.
‘The Babadook’ will arrive in UK cinemas on October 24. A US release date is yet to be set. (PTI)
