Inter-Departmental Tournaments

JAMMU, July 27: Badminton and Carrom matches were underway in Inter-Departmental Tournaments for the session 2022-23 at Directorate of Sports of Physical Education, University of Jammu. The tournaments are being played in the disciplines of Badminton (Male) and Carrom (Male and Female).
The detailed results of the matches in Carrom (Male) were Geology Department defeated Law Department by (2-0), LifeLong Learning Department defeated Statistics Department by (2-1), Zoology Department defeated Education Department by (2-0) and Sociology Department defeated Physical Education Department by (2-1). While the Carrom (female) Environmental Science Department defeated Electronics Department by (2-1), DDE & OE defeated Zoology Department by (2-0) and Physical Education Department defeated Yoga Centre by (2-0).
In Badminton (Male), Yoga Centre defeated Journalism Department by (2-0), Physical Education Department defeated Geology Department by (2-0), Electronic Department defeated education Department by (2-0) and Law Department defeated Political Science Department by (2-1).
The results of Badminton (Female) matches were Business School defeated Statics Department by (2-0), Physical Education Department defeated MCA Department by (2-0) and The Law School defeated DD &OE by (2-0).
The matches were conducted under the supervision of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba Chairman, Campus Sports Committee, University of Jammu and officiated by Ravish Vaid, Vikas Karlopia, Gagan Kumar, Jai Bharat, Raj Kumar Bakshi and Padam Dev Singh.
