JAMMU, Nov 19: Shuttlers of various ace groups played brilliantly to vie for the top honours on the pen-ultimate day of the 43rd Jammu and Kashmir State Badminton Championship 2016, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Badminton Association at Badminton Hall, Police Lines, here today.
The finals in various categories will be played tomorrow, which will be followed by the prize distribution function.
In Under-10 boys singles semifinals, Shourya beat Vaibhav and Udhyan got better of Bhavdeep, while in Under-10 girls singles finals, Snowy defeated Skiedeep to win the title.
In Under-13 boys singles quarterfinals, Aesh beat Suraj, Sarmanya lost to Dheeraj, Sachdev got better of Ibrahim and Pranav lost to Vidhyan.
In Under-13 girls semifinals, Unnati got better of Khushi and Sudiksha prevailed over Pranjal, while in Under-15 girls singles, Naman beat Poorva and Rashmi defeated Bhavini.
