JAMMU, May 28: Badminton, Table Tennis and Carrom Tournament for Officer and Teachers of Jammu University was held at Gymnasium Hall, here today.
In badminton, Akash Bhola defeated Dr Sandeep Arya by (21-13, 21-14) and Vikas Karlopia got better of Daud Iqbal Baba by (21-10, 21-09), while in Table Tennis, Akash Bhola prevailed over Prof PV KS Baba by (11-6, 11-5) and in Carrom, Raj Kumar Bakshi outplayed Daud Iqbal Baba. The semifinal matches will be played tomorrow.
The Tournament was organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, under the overall supervision of Prof Dhian S Bhau, Chairman Campus Sports Committee, University of Jammu.
The matches were officiated by Nisha Sharma, Ravish Vaid and Gagan Kumar.
