JAMMU, Apr 29: Expressing concern over highhandedness of contractor of JDA parking lot, Bahu Plaza Occupants Association has urged the Vice-Chairperson of Jammu Development Authority to ensure that they don’t face problems in parking their vehicles.
“The contractor in connivance with a food station has blocked the entry of occupants’ vehicles in a particular area of the parking lot thereby causing lots of inconvenience to them”, the Association said, adding “despite repeated requests the contractor has not mend his ways and sometimes even warn of dire consequences to the occupants”.
Demanding free parking at least for the occupants’ vehicles, the Association said, “a number of times assurances were given by the concerned authorities of the JDA in this regard but no such order has been passed till date”.
The Association has urged the Vice-Chairperson of JDA to personally intervene in the matter and ensure that the occupants don’t face inconvenience any more.
