JAMMU, Oct 13: Balbir Singh Jamwal, General Secretary, Badminton Association of Jammu and Kashmir have been nominated as Manager to accompany Indian Sub Junior Under-15-17 Badminton team to participate in the Sub Junior Asian Badminton Championships-2023 being held at Chengdu (Republic of China) from 17 to 22 October.
He was nominated by Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chief Minister of Assam and President of Badminton Association of India.
Balbir Singh Jamwal is an outstanding Badminton player of Jammu & Kashmir who has won medals in Masters, Veteran Badminton Nationals Gold in All Indian Ranking Badminton tournament held at Bangalore. He has also represented the country in the Senior Masters International Badminton Championships held at Tai Pai (Taiwan), Spain, Canada, Pattaya (Thailand), Malaysia and other International Badminton tournaments as well. He will leave for Chengdu, China on 15 October.
