JAMMU, Nov 29: Bali Bhagat, former Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader has appealed to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory to become job providers instead of job seekers. He made this appeal in his address during a function after inaugurating a ‘Non Woven Bags Machine Unit’ in Muthi here, today.
This unit produces bags using fabric material as a substitute to polythene. The unit estimated to cost Rs. 30 lakh with a loan duly approved by DIC Jammu is owned by Pranav Sharma and is installed in Muthi market near Post Office. Since there is no use of polythene in the unit for preparing bags therefore it is quite environment friendly.

He said there are multiple schemes specially tailored for the youth and they can select the one suited to them keeping in view the geographical and other factors. He said that by opting for these schemes the youth will not to have search for jobs as they themselves become the job providers. He advised them not to become only employment seekers but instead be employment generators.
The programme was held in the presence of local corporator, Suraj Padha. Prominent among others present on the occasion were Mukesh Sharma, Suresh Kumar Khajuria, etc.
