Bandeep, Raza among appointees in AG’s Office

SRINAGAR, Dec 21: The recruitment of 6 meritorious sports person on the posts of Accountants and Auditors in AG office was completed in two day’s time here in Srinagar. The selected list was notified in the morning on 20th December 2013.
The selection process consisted of field trials, interviews and assessment of participation in prestigious sports events. The field trials were held at University of Kashmir Grounds in Srinagar by experts deputed by the CAG office.
Bandeep Singh Handa and Waseem Raza Paray were selected in Cricket discipline, while Sahbir Nabi Bhat, Amir Farooq Dar, Ozair Ahmed Bhat and Aman Jot Singh Sudan were selected in Football.
Bandeep Singh Handa and Waseem Raza Paray have participated in Ranji Trophies representing their States in various games.
Aman Jot Singh has played U-14 National and U-17 National, Sahbir Nabi Bhat has played  U-19 national, Amir Farooq Dar has played Santosh Trophy and Ozair participated sub Junior National, while all the four players participated in Inter University games.
It is also worth mentioning that recruitment of sports persons in the AG offices is continuing for the last four years in which the meritorious sports persons have been selected for appointment in the Accountant Generals office for Group C posts of Accountants and Auditors.   Waseem Yousuf Mukhdoomi, Khalid Qayoom, Ujawar Nabi and Javaid Khan from the valley were selected in football discipline in 2012.  It may be mentioned that both Qyayoom and   Waseem have represented the state in Santosh Trophy several years whileas Mr Nabi represented the state in Santosh Trophy and played inter university championships.
In cricket, Mohammed Mudasir from the valley and Vimarsh Kaw from Jammu were selected in 2012. Mudasir and Vimarsh Kaw had represented the state in Ranji Trophy several times.
