Bandeep’s fifty takes J&K to 428

Agartala, Oct 23:
Bandeep Singh (63) hit a fighting half-century to help Jammu and Kashmir collect some valuable runs and put on board an impressive 428 against Tripura in their Ranji Trophy Group C match, here today.
J&K then bowled well to reduce the hosts to 85 for 2 at the end of Day 2 at Tripura Institute of Technology Ground.
The visitors had started their innings at 303 for 4 and added 125 runs to their overnight total before folding.
Bandeep, who was on seven yesterday, batted well but skipper Parveez Rasool (130) could add only one run to his overnight total.
Tripura lost Arindam Das (4) and Udiyan Bose (40) and at stumps, Rajib Saha (34) and Tushar Saha (1) were at the crease.
