Bangladesh Cricket Board announces team for Pakistan tour

DHAKA, Aug 11:
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has unveiled its squad for the upcoming tour of Pakistan, which marks a critical phase in the ICC World Test Championship.
The Bangladeshi team is scheduled to depart for Pakistan tomorrow, 12 August, for a series of two Test matches to be held in Rawalpindi and Karachi.
The first Test is set to begin on 21 August, with the second Test starting on 30 August. Before heading to Islamabad for the opening match, the squad will assemble in Lahore and undergo a training camp at the Gaddafi Stadium from 14-16 August.
Gazi Ashraf Hossain, Chairman of the National Selection Panel, emphasized the strategic considerations behind the selection.
