SRINAGAR, Mar 17: Police today said a bank guard was killed after he was hit accidentally by a bullet of his colleague in Hawal area of Old City here.
A police spokesman said today afternoon one guard identified as Altaf Ahmad Lala got injured by the fire which went off from 12 Bore Rifle of another guard namely Javed Ahmad Dar at Jammu and Kashmir Bank branch at Islamia College in Hawal area here.
“The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries. A case has been registered in this regard and investigation was taken up,” he added.
