JAMMU, Feb 4: Banyan International School organized an Educational Trip for its students to the famous ‘Gharana Wetland’at Gharana RS Pura, here.
The students were thrilled to be spectators to a variety of birds like red vented bulbul, purple sun bird, teal etc and gained explicit knowledge on various birds that migrate to this part of the country during the season.
The students also visited, ‘The Gharana Wetland Observatory’ and familiarized themselves with the sounds made by different birds.
The trip to the wetland was a knowledgeable experience for the students giving them deeper insight into the world of wildlife especially migratory birds, besides infusing aesthetic sense in them.
