Banyan International School celebrates ‘Tirangaa 2014’

JAMMU, Aug 30: Pearson Schools, a part of the world’s leading learning company ‘Pearson’ celebrated Inter-School Independence Day Cultural Fest-‘Tirangaa 2014’.
The theme for this year ‘Iconic Indian Monuments’ was celebrated across all Pearson Schools and the Fest was attended by students from more than 180 Schools located near Pearson Schools neighborhood across India.
The fest nurtured the spirit of patriotism and kindled the spirit of celebrations. In Jammu, Banyan International School hosted this pan-India event, with thirteen schools and over 300 students participating.
The results of the competition will be announced next week.
‘Tirangaa’ was conceptualized by Pearson Schools in line with its vision of tapping the hidden talent in every child. Pearson Schools understand that talent is something which goes unnoticed amidst the routine day to day academics.
Activities carried at ‘Tirangaa 2014’ include colour the monument, jigsaw puzzles, poster making, treasure hunt and street plays which added to the creative zeal of the children.
