JAMMU, Dec 19: Banyan International School in association with Pearson School, organized an Inter-School Basketball Tournament ‘Slam Jam-2016’, here.
16 teams from various reputed schools of Jammu participated in the opening ceremony of the tournament held today at Banyan International School.
Harinder Mahajan, Chairman, Banyan International School speaking on the occasion said “It has always been the endeavor of Banyan International School to encourage and provide opportunities to the budding stars who in future will make the country proud”.
Sahil Mahajan, Vice Chairperson of the School advised the players to play hard and more importantly to enjoy the tournament in true spirit.
In the first match of the tournament, Air Force School Jammu Cantt beat KC International Jammu by 44-25, while the second match was won by APS Nagrota beating Shishu Niketan Higher Secondary School by 26-6 and the third match was won by DPS Jammu beating BSF Higher Secondary School Paloura by 27-11.
The tournament will conclude on December 24.
