JAMMU, Sept 7: Banyan International School has joined hands with Pearson Schools, a part of Pearson Group; World’s largest Learning Company.
Pearson is a leading provider of educational materials, technologies, assessments and related services and also a leader in business information (Financial Times Group) and consumer publishing (Penguin Group).
A parent orientation programme by Uma Shankar Vishwanath, president, Pearson Schools, was conducted in the school premises. Parents were acquainted with the group. The collaboration will make accessible to its students, the global standard of education.
The students would further be provided with best academic guidance with a platform to explore extracurricular interests. The teachers of the school will be certified by EDEXCEL UK’s largest awarding body to facilitate and deliver an effective mode of teaching. Extra Curricular activities shall continue to be an integral part at Banyan International School with various programmes like Tiranga, Hungama, 15 book Campaign, Math lab etc.
Sneh Gupta, Chairman of the School introduced the Pearson Group to the parents in the orientation today.
Earlier, the Vice Principal, Monika Sethi presented welcome address, while Harinder Mahajan, Director, presented vote of thanks.
Pooja Mahajan and Miho Mahajan Directors were also present in the orientation.
