JAMMU, July 17: A delegation comprising of the representatives of the Dental Surgeons Association today met the president and other office bearers of the J&K High Court Bar Association and sought its support for their genuine demand.
After thorough deliberations on the demands of the Association, the Bar Association, in its emergent meeting decided to support the genuine cause of the dental surgeons. The meeting was chaired by its president, M K Bhardwaj senior advocate and further he appealed to the State Govt that it should accede to and fulfill the genuine demands of the Dental Surgeons Association who are protesting for last more than 17 days . Moreover members of the Dental Surgeons Association are also undertaking fast unto death from July 4.
Mr Bhardwaj has appealed to the State Government to generate the employment for the dental surgeons and also to fill the vacant posts of the dental surgeons in the State.
Meanwhile, Mr Bhardwaj strongly condemned the ceasefire violation in R S Pura sector by the Pak Rangers, in which one jawan scarified his life while countering their nefarious designs and few other jawans of BSF and civilians were injured.
An appeal was made to the Govt of India to tackle such situations more effectively without suffering the loss of any person and property and an atmosphere for peace initiatives started by the present dispensation must continue, so that the people residing in the border areas and security agencies engaged in the process do not feel disheartened and their morale remains high. Principal Medical College and Hospital, Jammu was also appealed to provide best possible treatment to the injured persons for speedy recovery.
A condolence meeting for the brave soldier who laid down his life for the honour and security of the nation was also held and it was prayed to the almighty to give strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss. The members present also prayed the almighty to give strength to the families of those who attained martyrdom and for the early recovery of those who got injured in this cease violation in R S Pura Sector by Pak Rangers.
