JAMMU, Apr 21: J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu today condemned attack on Advocate Paramjeet Khera by some miscreants yesterday evening in Bakshi Nagar area.
Addressing media-persons, President of the Bar, Advocate Abhinav Sharma said that on the intervention of the Bar, FIR has been registered with Police Station Bakshi Nagar. “Pursuant to that arrest of only 2 accused have been made while as the remaining accused are absconding causing serious threat to the security of the victim lawyer”, he added.
“This incident has exposed the tall claims of the police authorities concerning the security of Advocates both in the court premises as well as outside”, he said, adding “such illegal attacks will not be tolerated and if rest of the accused persons is not made by tomorrow morning, Bar may go in for agitation”.
