Bar visits flood affected school, distributes bags

JAMMU, Sept 20: The members of J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu visited the flood affected school and other affected areas of Phallian Mandal including village Sure Chak. President, M.K. Bhardwaj with other members distributed school bags and study material to the students and handed over hundred school bags to the head master of the Govt. High School Sure Chak and requested the District Administration to ensure the school becomes functional at the earliest so that the education of the children don’t get affected.
The members of the association also visited the damaged houses and information was also collected regarding the grievances and sufferings of the people who are affected by the calamity.
Among others who visited the flood affected areas along with the President were office bearers of the J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu including Sindhu Sharma (Vice President), Ranjit S. Jamwal (Gen. Secretary), Prem Sadotra (Joint Secretary), S. Gurveer Singh (Treasurer), (YLA) members Diljit Singh Manhas (President), Pardeep Majotra (Vice President) and Surinder Kour (Sr. Advocate), Sh. H.C. Jalmeria and other members.
