Barley rises on fresh buying

NEW DELHI, May 4:  Barley prices rose by Rs 30 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale grains market today on fresh buying from consuming industries.
However, other grains held steady in thin trade.
Traders said fresh buying from consuming industries led to rise in barley prices.
In the national capital, barley rose by Rs 30 to Rs 1260-1265 per quintal.
