JAMMU, Nov 25: Senior BJP leader and JMC Councilor, Sanjay Kumar Baru along with Councilor Ward-31 Succha Singh, ADC Satish Sharma and Nodal Officer, Royal Bakshi inaugurated special Ayushman Bharat Camp at Bohri in Ward-41 for registration of leftover beneficiaries under Ayushman Bharat who were not found in census 2011.
Speaking on the occasion, Baru paid gratitude to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for over 100 crore vaccination in India and 100% vaccination in J&K for first dose of nearly 1.30 crore population of Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh by which each individual beneficiary can avail free health insurance up to Rs five lakh. He termed it as magnificent and historical step towards genuine service to mankind and humanity.
Baru said that crores of beneficiaries have got themselves registered under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana-Ayushman Bharat and are seeking its benefits. He also stated that the scheme initiated by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi proved to be a game changer for India’s health system and now every person can avail treatment in best hospitals across the country which was a dream before for needy people. The welfare of people, he said is the utmost priority of the BJP led Government and urged people to seek benefits of all schemes launched during the past years.
Sanjay Baru also appealed to the people living in Talab Tillo and nearby areas who are not yet registered under the scheme for various reasons to avail the opportunity to get themselves registered in the scheme.
Satish Sharma, ADC said that the administration is making whole hearted efforts to cover all the left over population under the scheme.
