JAMMU, Aug 9: Jammu district Basketball Championship, organised by J&K Sports Council entered Day-2 at Play Field Shastri Nagar, here today.
Kapil Sharma (JKAS), Chief Operating Officer Himmayat presided over the event as chief guest, whereas Bram Raj Sharma, State Project Manager (Administration) was the guest of honour.
In the men’s section, Terrier beat Sparrow Warriors by 66-24 points, whereas Army trounced Upheaval by 86-81 points, MSP defeated Alpha by 62-38 points and Warrior won the match from Army-2 by 105-56 points.
In the girls section, Defending Champion defeated Hooper by 38-28 points and Warrior trounced Terrier. The matches were officiated by Aman Singh, Gourav Rajwal and Ranbir Singh.
