It is pertinent to mention here that the Industrial sector of Jammu and Kashmir is suffering very badly due to shortage of Industrial workers due to restrictions imposed on the movement of workers coming from outside the State as they have to wait for days at Lakhanpur resulting majority of them preferred to return back.
They pointed out that the production of Industrial units is also suffering very badly is due to non- availability of Technical persons also as the permission to enter the State always a problem and they refused to come to Jammu for the repair of machinery and other equipments for which the local technical persons are not available.
The Association requested the Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha for his kind intervention for the free movement of private vehicles and State carriage buses for Inter-state movement as permitted by other neighbouring States of Punjab/HP/Chandigarh UT/Haryana and Delhi which will provide great relief to the Industrial Sector of J&K and also to common people.
