SAMBA, July 25: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Samba organized an Inter School District Level Roll Ball Tournament at Kristu Jyoti Convent High School Samba for U/14 and U/17 Boys under the supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Samba, Subash Chander Bhardwaj.
Total 29 players from all over the district participated in Under-14 tournament while 18 players took part in Under-17. The tournament was organized under the directions of Jehangir Mir, Director General, DYSSO. Sister Archana, Principal, Kristu Jyoti Convent School, was also present on the occasion.
The U-14 final was played between Kristu Jyoti Convent High School and Baba Balak Nath High School (BBNHS) Vijaypur in which the latter was declared as winner by 8 points whereas U-17 final was played between Bal Bharti High School and Bhargava Public School (BPS), in which BPS Supwal emerged winner by 7 points.
Assistant Director, District Employment and Counseling Centre, Naresh Kumar, was the guest of the honour while Pardeep Singh and BD Sharma, Zonal Physical Education Officers (Ghagwal and Purmandal Zone, respectively) were also present.
