JAMMU, Feb 11: Bishnah Cricket Club (BCC) today defeated Media-XI Cricket Club by 6 wickets in a very close match that lasts till 20th over.
Organized by the JK Unity Trust, the exhibition match held at Phylian Mandal cricket ground in outskirts of Jammu.
After winning the toss, Media- XI elected to bat first and gave target of 170 in stipulated 20 overs. Amit Sudan was highest score for the side with highest 81 runs in 42 balls while Amit Kumar scored half-century.
Ashwani and Shubam took one wicket each in for BCC.
Chasing the target, BCC managed to score 171 runs in pretty close contest that last till twentieth over.
Gourav Manhas score highest 77 runs in 46 balls for his team while Shivam Sadotra scored 48 runs in 40 balls.
Yash Khajuria from Media -XI took 3 wickets for his team while Ranjeet Singh took one wicket.
Sohan Bharti maintained the scoreboard of the match.
Puneet Arora President JK Unity Trust was the chief guest during the match.
Gourav Chopra, Raj Kumar Goel, Kamal Kundal, Manish Mahajan and other were also present on the occasion.
