REASI, Apr 3: BCC and UCC scripted wins in the ongoing Reasi Chenab Premier League, being played at Sports Stadium, here today.
Today’s first match was played between Employee Cricket Club (ECC) and Bhomag Cricket Club (BCC). Batting first, ECC scored135 runs 19.5 overs wherein Shalin Gandotra made 27 runs, while Sahil made 20 runs and Asheesh contributed 18 runs. From the bowlding side, Jitender, Arun, Sameer and Billa took 2 wickets each.
In reply, BCC chased the target easily in which Sanjay Rajput made 36 runs, Deepu and Sameer Bhagat scored 34 & 30 runs respectively. From the bowling side, Ashesh took 4 wickets and Pritam got1 wicket. Sameer Bhagat was adjudged as man of the match.
The 2nd match was played between Super Speciality Jammu and United Cricket Club Jammu (UCC) wherein UCC won the match in 18.5 overs. Batting first, SS Jammu scored a total of 137 runs for 5 in 20 overs. Nitin made 35 runs in 23 balls, while Deepak remained unbeaten at 23 runs and Rohit scored 20 runs. From the bowling side, Kapil and Abhinav took 2 wickets each, whereas Akash took 1 wicket.
In reply, UCC chased the target in 18.5 overs with 3 wickets remaining, in which Nasir made 50 runs, whereas Raja Khan contributed 28 runs. From the bowling side, Ved took 4 wickets and Rumail bagged 2 wickets. Nasir was declared as man of the match for his outstanding performance.
