Bedar’s Reshi Nama “Anmbare shamama” released

SRINAGAR, Sept 26: Reshi Nama “Anmbare shamama” comprised the poetry of revered sufi saint Hazrat Shiekh Noor-ud-Din Wali (ra) was released here today.
The Reshi Nama written by noted author, social activist and Journalist Gh Qadir Bedar was released by the veteran writer, Prof. Shad Ramzan, who was the chief guest at the function.
Former head of the Markazi Noor, University of Kashmir Prof. Bashar Bashir was guest of the honour and famous religious preacher Molvi Ghulam Jeelani, Chairman Ahata Waqar, Chanapora and Ab Gani Parray, General Secretary also shared the presidium.
Speaking on the occasion, Shad Ramzan lauded the contribution of Gh. Qadir Bedar in enriching and preserving the Kashmiri literature and Sufi traditions by authoring a large number of manuscripts on the life of Sufi poets and their poetry.
He said “Reshi Nama Anmbare shmama” is the latest edition in this huge literary treasure.
He dwelt in length on the niceties of Tassawuf and urged the need to explore linguistic grandeur of shiek shruks.
Prof. Bashar Bashir in his remarks said that Gh. Qadir Bedar by bringing out Reshi Nama Anmbare shmama has fulfilled its much need among the research students.
Among others who attended the function included Qazi Ab Rashid, Hakeem Mohd Yaseen, Javed Ahmad and Gh Hassan Shah.
The book comprises translation of 250 years ancient Noornama manuscript of noted literature and historian of his times Baba Mohamad Kamal Chrari .
