KISHTWAR, July 30: Kishtwar Sports Power Lifting Association organized District (M&W) Bench-Press and Deadlift Powerlifting Championship, which concluded at Tourist Reception Centre, here.
Over 100 players from all over Kishtwar participated in this Championship.
Rajan Jain, General Secretary J&K Sports Powerlifting Association), Abrar Chowdhry, SSP Kishtwar, Kaushal (Major 26 RR), Sameer Jeelani (SHO Kishtwar) and Abhay Sharma (ARTO Kishtwar) were among the dignitaries present on the concluding ceremony.
The powerman of kishtwar title went to Musharaf.
The gold medals were bagged by Rafyaz Ahmed, Jaffar Sheikh, Mohd. Hamza, Avdhesh Parihar, Haroon Rashid, Haseeb, Pardeep Kumar, Mubassar, Musharaf, Rehan and Yassin Hussain, while the silver medals went to Aqib Najar, Anikat, Sartaj Ahmed, Mubshar Hussain, Aman Bhandari, Amir Suhail, Aqib Mushtaq, Mohd. Hamza, Baber, Alibaba and Asim Rashid and the bronze medals were claimed by Arif, Yasir Hussain, Surjeet Thakur, Aaqib Ayaz, Kamran, Amir Suhail, Ajeet and Haroon Rashid.
