Bengal women drub J&K by 10 wkts

JAMMU, Dec 6: Bengal defeated Jammu and Kashmir in the Senior Women Cricket Tournament at CAB’s Kalyani Cricket ground, Bengal.
Batting first, J&K scored 96 runs in 48.2 overs. Neeru Manhas top scored with 36 runs, while Salra Devi and Anju Devi contributed 20 and 15 runs respectively. For Bengal, N Maji was the wrecker-in-chief, who took 5 important wickets.
In reply, Bengal chased the target in 19.3 overs, without losing a wicket. Openers Deepti and Aparna Mondal scored 55 and 35 runs respectively.
