JAMMU, June 1: Wrestler of J&K Police from Basantgarh Benia Min lifted the 3rd Annual Nomain Kesari Vishal Dangal Title organized by Kotli-Bajallian Nomain Dangal Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association.
In the first malli (main bout) wrestler Benia Min defeated wrestler Tejbeer of Satyaban Akhara Rohtak. The winner Benia Min was awarded with cash prize of Rs 18,000 while runner-up wrestler Tejbeer got Rs 13,000.
On the occasion, DySP Katra Dr Ashok Sharma presented the cash awards in presence of SHO Katra Kuldeep Krishan, president J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma, Chairman Nomain Dangal Committee Ved Parkash Pujari and general secretary Mohammad Sharif.
The second main bout was won by Kaka of RS Pura who defeated Lallu of Bajrangi Akhara Jammu, third bout was won by Tinku of Ludhiana who defeated Nisar Ahmed of Doda, fourth bout was won by Zaker of Sarore who defeated Roshan Lal of J&K Police, fifth bout was won by Sonu of Rohtak who defeated Kalu of Bishnah and sixth bout was won by Ajay Sharma of Udhampur who defeated Akram of Bajrangi Akhara.
Among others present were general secretary District Reasi Indian Style Wrestling Association Naresh Kumar, Girdawar Katra Vijay Kumar, Patwari Katra Uttam Singh, Treasurer District Udhampur Indian Style Wrestling Association Satish Kumar, retired Master Santosh Kumar, Sarpanch Rattan Singh, Ram Parkash Sharma and Om Parkash Magotra.
Other Results: Amir Khan beat Mohanu, Raman thrashed Yeshbir, Liakat Ali smashed Raju, Gopal Sharma outclassed Yash, Balbir defeated Amit, Rajesh Sharma beat Sheru, Panku crushed Sumit, Dillar Khan routed Bhollu, Balli defeated Tirthi, Balwinder beat Ali and Billa smashed Anayat.
