JAMMU, Sept 23: Wrestler Benia Min of J&K Police outplated Rimple of Amritsar and lifted the title trophy of the 22nd Annual Rustam-e-Bhatindi Dangal, organized by Panjpeer Dharagh Shareef Bhatindi, Jammu in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association at village Bhatindi, Block Satwari.
On the occasion, former Minister Raman Bhalla was the chief guest, who distributed cash prizes of Rs 60,000 and Rs 40,000 among winner and runner-up wrestlers respectively in presence of Joint Secretary, J&K State Sports Council Shiv Kumar Sharma, Ram Pal Sharma, social activist and wrestling promoter, Babishan and Rehmat Ali, Sarpanchs, Choudhary Noor Alam, Ram Pal Sharma.
In the second bout, Sunil of Zirakpur, Chandigarh defeated Kaka of Amritsar. Rs 60,000 cash prize was awarded to Sunil while runner-up wrestler Kaka got Rs 40,000.
The bouts played between Nisar of Doda of J&K Police and Malkeith of Amritsar and Bobari of Sarore and Kulbir Singh of Kot Bhawal Jammu ended in draw.
Other Results: Farooq of Sarore defeated Rinku of Rohtak, Ishaq Mohammad of Bajrangi Akhara Jammu smashed Lalli of Garh Shanker, Hoshiarpur, Amir Khan of Jammu beat Gurmail of BSF, Kaka of RS Pura outplayed Talab of Mallerkotla, Shamsher of Dina Nagar defeated Umesh of Rohtak and Bharat Bushan of Domana outclassed Arif of Roun Domail.
