RAJOURI, Sept 4: As a part of Annual Sports Activities for the current academic session 2013-14, a friendly football match was played between Boys Hostel team and College of Engineering and Technology team at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) Football Ground, here today.
The match was won by B Tech Civil Engineering team by (3-2) goals, while at half time the winners were leading by (2-1) and in the second half the COET scored 2 more goals and won the match by (3-2).
The match was organized by the Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, under the supervision of Mohammad Din, Deputy Director. Mohammad Rashid Chowdhary Dean of Students was the chief guest on the occasion, who while speaking highlighted the importance of games and sports.
According to the organizers, Prof I A Hamal, Vice Chancellor BGSBU is keen to boost the extra curriculum, sports and cultural activities among the young budding players and artists.
