JAMMU, May 29: Minister for Housing, Horticulture, Culture, Youth Services and Sports Raman Bhalla today asked teaching fraternity to provide quality as well as moral values in the school to the students, adding that they are the main architects who shape the personality of students by giving them quality education.
This was stated by the Minister while addressing a large gathering of teaching, non-teaching staff members, students and parents at a felicitation function organised by ASN Higher Secondary School, Channi Himmat to felicitate the students of 10th and 12th classes who excelled in board examinations.
The Chairman Adarsh Educational Trust A K Kapoor was also present on the occasion.
The Minister highlighted the role of the teachers and parents in the life of children. He called upon the parents to send their wards to schools for becoming good citizens of the country.
He asked the students community to work for unity and integrity of the country and also appealed the parents to come forward and support their children in this mission so that India becomes stronger day by day.
Mr. Bhalla also extended his gratitude towards the school management for showing their concern in encouraging the passed out students by organising such an impressive function.
The felicitation certificates, medals, souveniers and cash awards presented to Rohit Pandita, Antra Gupta, Sahil Thankur, Paramjeet Singh, Palak Gupta, Arshdeep, Kamakshi, Aarushi Bakshi, Haris Feroz Pukhta, Ridha Zainab Khan, Niharika, Tameem Ul Tariq, Navdeep Singh, Gurleen Kour, Akashdeep Singh, Aditya Kalsi, Reedhima Gupta and Shozab Adnam of 12th class besides Diksha Ganjoo, Chirag Arora, Syed Tasadaq Hussain and Versha Devi of Class 10th.
In his welcome address, Chairman Adarsh Educational Trust A K Kapoor congratulated the meritorious students who brought excel for school in board exams.
Later, the vote of thanks presented by Rahul Kapoor Administrator of Adarsh College of Education.
