POONCH, Dec 7: Bhanu clinched the cadet boys singles title of 23rd District Table Tennis Championship, being organized by District Association Poonch at Degree College Poonch.
Bhanu got walkover in the semifinal, while Fazal beat Karanveer in another semifinal.
In cadet boys final, Bhanu trounced Fazil, while in sub junior, Aman got better of Bhanu by (11-6,11-9), while in second semifinal, Fazil prevailed over Anuj (11-8,11-6).
In junior boys, Paropkar trounced Piyush 11-7,11-9, Olive defeated Jetan 11-7,11-6, Fazil beat Karanveer 11-6,11-8, Gagan outplayed Vishab Kapoor by 11-8,11-8, Gagan beat Bhanu 11-8,11-5, Rachit trounced Karanveer 11-7,11-6.
In first quarterfinal of junior category, Gurjot beat Paropkar 11-9, 11-8, while in second quarterfinal, Rachit trounced Olive 11-2, 11-9.
