Bhargava College sets up first robotic lab in J&K

SAMBA, May 4: Bhargava College of Engineering and Technology, Supwal has set up first robotics lab in Jammu and Kashmir in association with IIT Bombay as a Part of e-Yantra Lab set up initiatives (eLSI).
The lab was inaugurated in presence of Parkash Sharma, Chairman of the College, Sanjeev Sharma, Managing Director, Rajesh Sharma, Trustee and BCET Director.
Various heads of the department along with faculty and students of the college were also a part of the function.
While speaking, Parkash Sharma said that such a great initiatives to establish robotics lab will uplifting the practical approach of the students to excel in the field of robotics. He declared that Lab will be opened for the external students of other colleges also.
In his address, Director brought to the knowledge of dignitaries about the tie up and association under taken by the college with IIT’s to strengthen the academics in the college.
This is the first lab of robotics in J&K and is partially funded by IIT Bombay.
In the end, Prof Kavi Arya, Principal Investigator e-Yantra, IIT Bombay discussed the benefits of the robotics in upcoming time.
