JAMMU, Feb 2: Bhargava Public School celebrated its 10th Annual Day ‘Magnum Opus’- an amalgam of Dance, Art and Culture in its school campus, here today.
Former MLA Parkash Sharma was the chief guest and Khumer Singh, Vice Chairman Samba Municipality was the guest of honour.
Rohini Aima, Vice Chairperson and Principal Jammu Sanskrirti School Jammu was the special guest.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Vandana Sharma, Director Bhargava College of Education, Dheeraj Bharti, Director Bhargava Degree College, Sanjeev Sharma, Trustee, besides Prince Anand, Raj Singh, Rajeshwar Singh and Narinder Singh (Corporators).
The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries. Earlier, Principal of the school, Vivek Arora presented the welcome address.
A colorful program was presented by the students. Ghoomar from Rajasthan and Punjabi Bhangra enthralled the audience.
In School’s Annual Report Principal of the school highlighted achievements of the students at District and National levels in Roll Ball, Kabaddi, Cycling, Shooting and Football.
In prize distribution school management awarded the position holders and students who excelled in sports events at District and National levels with medals and trophies.
House masters were also awarded on excelling in various activities throughout the year.
