SAMBA, Dec 18: Bhargava Public School celebrated its 15th Annual Day-‘The Darpan’ in the School premises with pomp and show, here.
The programme started with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp by the Chairman Bhargava Group of Institutions, Rajesh Sharma, Managing Director, Sanjeev Sharma, Directors Vandana Sharma and Dheeraj Bharti in the presence of students, parents and dignitaries.
In order to pay tribute to Goddess of knowledge and wisdom Mata Saraswati, the students presented ‘Saraswati Vandana’. The founder chairman of the Institutions, late Parkash Sharma was also remembered.
The students of kindergarten wing entertained and enthralled the audience with their cultural bonanza, while the primary wing students also presented bouquets of cultural items and the students of middle wing portrayed the Uri attack on Indian Army.
There was a prize distribution ceremony in which the meritorious students of classes 10th and 12th were awarded for their good show in the CBSE Board examinations during the session 2021-22.
The chairman asked the student fraternity to be focussed, attentive and pay attention towards studies as these years will lay foundation and shape their career. He also told the gathering about the future expansion plans of the School and other various scholastic and co-scholastic activities to be introduced in the School for students.
Principal Subhash Kumar presented the School’s annual report in which he highlighted the achievements of the School during the past years, while the vote of thanks was presented by the Managing Director Sanjeev Sharma and the proceedings were conducted by students namely Shruti Verma and Rakshita Singh.
