Udhampur Nov 16: Bhartiya College of Education Udhampur organized Alumni Meet in the Multipurpose Hall of the College here today. The aim of organizing this Meet was to make the students and faculty acquainted with the alumni of the College and to share their experiences.
Balwant Singh Mankotia, MLA Udhampur was the chief guest on the occasion.The programme started with lighting of traditional lamp by the chief guest. Prof. Sukham Chand, Principal of the college and s Jyoti Sharma Alumni Incharge shared the College journey from 2003 to 2013. Madhu Khajuria Chairperson of the College gave her blessings to all the aluminies.
Bhartiya College aluminies recalled their experiences of their stay in the campus and the memorable moments they shared with the faculty. The prominent alumnies who attended the occasion are Sunil Singh Asstt. Prof GDC Boys Udhampur, Anuradha Kumari Lect.Hr.Sec.School Boys Udhampur,Sanjeev Kumar Lect Hr Sec School Ramkot, Sandeepa Chib PGT APS Udhampur Mridhu Bhardwaj PGT APS Udhampur. A cultural programme was also presented by the students of the College.
While speaking on the occasion, Balwant Singh Mankotia encouraged the alumnies to contribute whole heartedly for the overall growth of the College with their valuable suggestions. All the alumnies were presented mementos by the chief guest. A power point presentation showing the achievements of the College in both curricular as well as co-currricular sector was presented by the faculty member Rakesh Sharma.
Chetan and Swati B.Ed trainees of the College conducted the proceedings of the programme. Samiksha Raina faculty of the college presented vote of thanks.
