JAMMU, Aug 25: Skipper Bhavuk Malhotra guided KC Sports Club Junior-B to a big win by 8 wickets over Junior-A team of the Club, here today.
Earlier, KCSC Junior-A team skipper Saurabh won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, KCSC Jr-A scored 133 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 6 wickets in the process. Ajay top scored with 53 runs off 44 balls, while Sahil contributed 18 runs off 19 balls to the total. From Jr-B, Aman Singh and Bhavuk Malhotra claimed 1 wicket each.
In reply, KCSC Jr-B team chased the target easily in 17.4 overs by losing 2 wickets to win the match by 8 wickets. Bhavuk top scored with 58 runs off 40 balls, while Gaurav contributed 46 runs off 35 balls. Vinayak and Ritwik claimed one wicket each from KCSC Junior-A team. Bhavuk Malhotra was adjudged as the man of the match for his all-round display.
