JAMMU, Nov 21 : People of Bhawani Nagar, W.No. 36, Janipur are facing acute shortage of water for a week.
They alleged that they are suffering with severe water shortage, as for a week as they did not get water supply. They added that the water supplied in the adjoining areas was on alternate day basis but here it is for very short duration.
“We have not taken bath for last many days and are bound to wear dirty clothes, as there is no water in our houses even to wash a handkerchief; they said.
People at large of this area have requested Chief Engineer, PHE to intervene personally and take immediate steps to restore water supply.
