JAMMU, Jan 27: A bicycle parade 2020 was organised yesterday at Kathua wherein registered participants cum cyclists were participated. The event was flagged off by a renowned Spiritual leader BK Veena, In-charge Brahma Kumari Iswari Vishawadlaya of Sub Zone Kathua.
The bicycle parade was started from Main Bazaar Kathua and passing through from Shaheedi Chowk, Ambedkar bridge, Sawan Chack and culminated again at Main Bazaar Kathua.
With the mission and efforts to bring world record to India from ‘Thailand’ by simultaneously holding a bicycle parade, 2020 in multiple venues across India wherein more than 1,36411 cyclists took part in 5 km bicycle parade. The registered participants cum cyclists of Kathua district including Parikshit Sharma, Sunil Sharma, Umesh Kumar, Prince Rajput, Ravi Kumar , Mohit Bhran, Avinash Singh, Ranjeet Singh and Sarthak Singh became a part of the same parade in district Kathua too.
While addressing the media person, Sunil Sharma said we are thankful to the event Director, Nitin Palal and his entire team for taking the initiative in the interest of India and the cyclists for achieving the world record.
