JAMMU, Sept 11: Jammu division drubbed Kashmir division by a big margin of 23 points in Under-14 boys basketball match of the ongoing State Level Inter-Division competitions in the disciplines of basketball Under-14 and Under-17 boys and girls held at Police Lines Ground, here today.
The competitions are being held under the overall supervision of Tirath Ram, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu.
Earlier, riding on a superb show by Sparsh, who scored 10 baskets, Jammu division beat Kashmir division by (31-8).
In basketball Under-14 girls, Jammu defeated Kashmir by (11-8) in a close contest. Parl and Urvi scored 7 and 4 baskets for Jammu division respectively.
In basketball Under-17 boys, Jammu Division beat Kashmir Division by (17-5), with Neeraj Manhas scoring 10 baskets, while in basketball Under-17 girls, Jammu division beat Kashmir division by (27-15), wherein Pallavi and Parveen scored 9 baskets each for the winners.
The matches were officiated by Mousmi Verma, Vishal Bharti, Rajesh Bandral, Ravi Singh, Amit Kalsi and Vaneet.
