PATNA, Apr 9: Khelo India Youth Games 2025, a 12-day sports event, is set to take place in Bihar from May 4 to May 15.
Khelo India Youth Games 2025 preparations are in full swing. Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena reviewed the preparations for the 7th edition of the Khelo India Youth Games 2025 on Wednesday to be held in Begusarai, Bhagalpur, Nalanda, Gaya, and Patna with an aim to promote sports culture in Bihar and encourage young talent.
During the review meeting attended by officials from various departments, Meena issued specific instructions to ensure timely completion of all preparations.
He asked to ensure better coordination among departments for which functional area heads will be appointed to facilitate smooth execution and inter-departmental collaboration.
Meena instructed to complete all related constructions by April 25 to ensure all five venues were ready for the games.
According to Meena, the Khelo India Youth Games 2025 is a significant opportunity for Bihar to showcase its sports talent on a national platform.
The event is expected to inspire young athletes to demonstrate their skills and prepare for future national and international competitions.
The event is not just a sporting event but a milestone in Bihar’s journey toward fostering a robust sports culture, he said, adding that it is expected to motivate youth toward adopting a healthy and active lifestyle while strengthening the state’s identity as a hub for sports development.
