RAJOURI, Jan 17: A bike rider was killed while another seriously injured in road accident on Nowshera-Rajouri road today.
A police spokesman said that the mishap took place at around 4 pm near Kallar (Chingus) when the two youth were going towards Rajouri from Nowshera side on motor-cycle. Their bike slipped, causing serious head injuries to one of them.
While, Pankaj Kumar, son of Bhagwan Dass (21), resident of Godhar was killed on the spot, seriously injured, co-rider, Rajat Singh (20), son of Kasturi Lal, resident of Saranu was admitted to District Hospital, Rajouri. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
