JAMMU, June 25: A bike rider was today knocked to death by an unknown vehicle in Sohal area of Akhnoor.
According to the reports, one unknown vehicle driven by unknown person from Sohal towards Akhnoor area hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02DA-0431 coming from opposite side, near Palwan degree college. In the mishap, the bike rider namely Vishal Kumar son of late Shathi Ram, resident of Pangiari, died on spot.
In this connection, a case under FIR Number 175/2023 U/S 279/304-A IPC was registered in Police Station Akhnoor and further investigation started while the body of the deceased was shifted to Sub District Hospital Akhnoor for post mortem.
