JAMMU, Sept 11: J&K’s ace Power Lifter, Inspector Bimal Indu Sharma has been selected in Indian team for upcoming Commonwealth Power Lifting Bench Press championship to be held at Canada from September 15 to September 21, 2019. Bimal Indu Sharma was selected on the basis of his performance in National Bench Press Championship held at Pune, where he won Gold Medal in Master Category in 93 Kg Weight Category.
Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer (J) of J&K State Sports Council; Ajay Sharma, General Secretary of the Association and Rahul Sawhney, Senior Vice President All J&K State Power Lifting Association appreciated the achievement of the player for this achievement.
