JAMMU, Nov 13: Baba Kelekh Nath Dangal Committee organized annual wrestling at Bantalab, here.
The wrestling was held under the supervision of Surinder Singh Gilli, Chairman BKNDC.
While speaking, Gilli informed that the main motto of this type of event was only to boost and revive sports activities in the region and to promote sports amongst the youth of the remote areas. The aim of conducting the event was to promote sportsman spirit and to effectively engage the youths, he added.
Surinder Singh Gill, on the occasion distributed cash prizes among the winners and runner-up wrestlers.
The main bout was between Binny from Jammu and Abdul from Iran. Binny won the bout (First Prize).
Among others present were Abdul Razak, Sarpanch Dharminder Singh, Ghulam Rasool, Balbir Singh, Shavinder and Mukesh Singh.
