Birth anniversary of Swami Kashi Bub celebrated with fervour, gaiety

JAMMU, Aug 21: The 84th birth anniversary of Swami Kashi Bub Maharaj was celebrated with fervour, gaiety. In this connection a Mahayagya was performed at Sharda Mata Mandir, Bantalab, near here by Swami Kashi Bub Trust Hugam, Anantnag, Kashmir camp Jammu.
On the occasion a two–day long Maha Yagya was performed in which a large number of devotees drawn from different parts of Jammu participated and paid their obeisance to Swami Ji.
The Yagya concluded with Puranahuti which was followed by serving of prasahad to devotees. On this day according to Trust a Hawan was being performed by Swami Ji himself at village Hugam every year.
The Trust also organised an award ceremony for meritorious students of the Hugam Biradari of Class 8th, 10th, and 12th standard. The awards were given in presence of special guests included Prof. A N Sadhu, Brij Hali (Kashmiri writer) Dr Ramesh Kumar Bhat, Avtar Hugami, Bansilal Dhar and elder members of the community.
The Trust had previously on August 3, laid the foundation stone of its building. The building structure plan and the accounts of the Trust were displaced and shared with donors and devotees by B L Dhar, Committee head of the Trust who complimented the donors for their valuable contribution for the construction of Trust building.
A similar hawan was organised by Biradari members under Badri Nath Tickoo, Ravinder Kumar Pandita and Sunil Tickoo at Kashmiri Hindu Sabha, Pune. Devotees of Swami Ji and community members attended the hawan and had prasad. Swami Kumar Ji Geeta Sat Sang Ashram also participated in Hawan at Pune and briefed the gathering about the Swami Ji ‘s biography.
